Trashed a can in a gas station bathroom, security guard demanded money,
so they say they got 'robbed'.

EXCLUSIVE: Brazil police say drunk Ryan Lochte and three Team USA swimmer friends DESTROYED a gas station bathroom and the security guard pulled a gun demanding they pay for the damage

Ryan Lochte and the three US swimmers were not robbed but instead ordered to pay up after destroying a gas station bathroom
Video shows the men trashing a restroom and breaking the door, followed by a security guard pulling a gun when they refuse to pay
Lochte was seen smiling in a photo with a flight attendant in Charlotte on Wednesday morning as he was spotted back in the US for the first time
US Olympic swimmers Jack Conger and Gunnar Bentz have been detained by Brazilian authorities and remain in the country
The two men were attempting to fly back to the United States from Rio when they were dramatically removed from their flight at the last minute
Jimmy Feigen will also give a statement to police in Brazil on Thursday, as will the driver of the cab the men were in that night

The guard was probably going to keep that money for himself. Lochte et al should have insisted the guard call the police, so the matter would be dealt with in an above board manner.

Two Olympic swimmers CONFESS Lochte armed robbery story WAS made up as Brazil cops release video of gang of four at gas station which they urinated on and vandalized before fighting with guard

Jack Conger and Gunnar Bentz conbfessed to police that the lied about being the victims of an armed robbery said a Brazilian official
The admission came as video emerged of Ryan Lochte and the US swimmers at the gas station where they claimed they were robbed
The group are seen running to the bathroom and sitting off behind the station, spending over 10 minutes at the establishment
Officials in Brazil are now furiously denying Lochte's robbery claims, with one individual saying: 'The only truth they told was they were drunk'
Officials say the swimmers destroyed parts of the gas station on the night they claimed they were robbed by breaking a door, urinating on the wall and causing damage to the bathroom
A security guard then demanded they pay but did not pull out a gun or point it at the swimmers at any point, contradicting Lochte's claims

If this is true, and it does seem so by the evidence. I would be in favor of them being stripped of any medals and banned for life from competition.

And, after that they should be made to attend the Patrick Kane remedial school for the socially impaired.

    It's getting better...

Brazilian authorities have confirmed that Ryan Lochte lied about being robbed at gunpoint early Sunday morning, and that it was the Olympian who may have committed crime.

In a dramatic press conference, Police Inspector Alexandre Braga said:

Ryan Lochte, Jimmy Feigen, Gunnar Bentz and Jack Conger were not robbed and were not the victims of a crime at a gas station in Barra da Tijuca shortly after 6am on Sunday
The men were seen on video camera urinating on a wall and then causing destruction and vandalism to the bathroom at the establishment
There was then a clash between the group and employees, which Bentz or Conger told authorities on Thursday was led by a 'highly intoxicated' Lochte, something other witnesses confirmed
Their cab driver was told by employees to not leave and that police were being called to the scene, at which point two of the men began to walk away and a security guard pulled his gun telling them to stay
The men eventually paid employees at the gas station $20 and 100 reais (approximately $30) and were allowed to leave the scene
Police have spoken to Bentz and Conger as well as Lochte on the phone and they will be speaking to Feigen later in the day on Thursday
The men were with two women whose identities are unknown and police believe this may have been their motive in hiding what happened since they could have girlfriends
The men could face charges for lying to police and destroying property and the FBI has said they are willing to help Brazilian law enforcement
The judge who allowed the swimmers to be held for questioning will determine when they can leave the country, but as far as police are concerned Bentz and Conger are free to go
