With new changes announced by the Liberal government, Canadians are now able to apply directly to fill vacancies in the Senate.

    I could make jokes about frontal lobotomies, but I actually respect the jobs many Senators do. Just like Cops and Lawyers, it's the few bad ones we judge the rest by. ;)

    If they made it a prerequisite that Senators must have no criminal records, they'd clean the place out.

    Can u imagine the 3 of them working on a bill together? 5000 pages of well researched rage that no one would ever see because Caleb isn't completely convinced he won't have to give up some privacy when they submit it...

    Also, 3 new senators from Alberta? Couple other provinces would lose their minds!

    And strangely, my other nomination is yet another Albertan. I think Jared Milne would be a great senator.

    Yeah, they aren't taking applications from Alberta right now, so all four are ineligible... :(
