Former Liberal interim leader Bob Rae has apologized for a gagging gesture he made at the party's weekend convention, his reaction to the prime minister's praise of Conservative predecessor Stephen Harper.

What a travesty. Damn right he should apologize. If he threw up a little in his mouth, he should be a pro and just swallow it down. No doubt the rightie whities will all be much classier when Trudeau retires from politics, being known for that and all. Especially the ones from Alberta.

the only gagging would be due to Bob pretending to be a Liberal so he can have a job.

Some of the twatter comments were good, like why hasn't Bob apologized yet for what he did to Ontario from 1990 thru 1995.

Very childish but since it's a Liberal party convention (ie a closed meeting for Liberals) it's not that big of a deal. But now some Wild Rose member is going to throw a bag of feces at Wynne while she's giving her Canada Day speech and use Rae's gagging mime tto equivocate.

If Liberals want to expose the ugliness of those on the right who can't even show basic sigs of decency - like when the Rosers refused to customarily rise for a guest of the Legislature bece Wynne was the guest - then they shouldn't do anything that the right could possibly try and portray as similar behaviour.

Why apologize, you wimp? Man up! If they're offended by your funny then fuck 'em.

Exactly, and I expect the same latitude to be given by the left to the Wild Rose party for embarrassing the Chairman.

Totally different. One is a private gathering, the other is a public ceremony. Wild Rose can burn Wynne in effigy on their own time if they want, but not in the Legislature.

As I said, let the equivocation begin!

Fixed your post to properly reflect your hyper-partisanship.

This isn't the first time Bob Rae was gagging like a pro.

Too late. Justin Putin clearly exposed the ugliness of the left. At least to those who aren't willfully blind and stupid.
Funny how the Wildrose was quick to boot a member because of something inappropriate that was said about McWynnty. And Yet, fearless leader is still in HIS party despite committing assault in Parliament. An crime!

But you're such a partisan hack I have grave doubts you see it that way.

If that were true, he'd have been charged.

How's that any different from you out-and-out lying about Trudeau to further your partisan agenda?

Yes, because any assault that was never reported or never resulted in charges never took place.
