Forcing staff to start work before 10 a.m. is tantamount to torture and is making employees ill, exhausted and stressed, an Oxford University researcher has claimed.

Seriously? I weep for Canada which is turning into a country of self entitled whiney bitches who think the sun revolves around their asshole.

"Sorry boss can't work before 10:00 because it stresses me dude" ROTFL

Hopefully they invent artificial intelligence soon because the population isn't going to capable of thinking, working or even moving in the very near future. Maybe Zager and Evans weren't just song writers but visionaries.

I used to get up at 10:00 at night, half an hour before I went to bed, work 26 hour day down at mill, and pay the owner for permission to come to work.

I'm at work most days by 7:30am and I don't leave until after 5:30. I guess I'm stressed and should wimp out and quit.

Pussy, you had it easy. You didn't have to walk up hill both ways barefoot and in the snow.

Hell, even on weekends and holidays my wife and I are up before 8 AM. Before graduating high school I worked on one of the family farms, then i was in Cornwallis a month after graduating. I literally can't sleep in unless I've been awake for more than 24 hours straight.

Those are the best hours because you miss the worst of rush hour in both directions, and traffic is a twice-daily experience that's about a hundred times worse than what goes on at work. Nothing wrong at all with getting up early to go to a job you like. Too bad so many employers and backstabbing co-workers still opt to make the workplace the most miserable place for people that it can possibly be. :|

I start work at 6:25 every morning, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
