They should be over my house in about 3 hours if they don't stop for gas and coffee.

    Those CF-18s are loud!

They did a fly-by at the Edmonton Grand Prix (or whatever it was called) in 2009 and when they left afterwards, they flew right over my house and it rattled the windows!

Best of luck guys and stay safe!

If you're close look about 200 yards in front of the noise. 8O

Since Ukraine started, I get one every day over the house at around 2 pm.

Usually by the time I hear it, it's gone.

CF-18's did a fly by in downtown Edmonton for Klondike days a fear years ago and shook a high rise during construction, the crane operator loved it.

They had flown in the Edmonton City Centre airport and were returning to Cold Lake when they rattled my windows, so I won't get to hear them this time. Cold Lake it a few hundred klicks away from my place.

They did a flypast of every Grand Prix and every Indy race. They also landed at the City Center Airport in between practice runs, so I usually got a great view of them. Love that!

    Let's wish them well! R=UP

Looks like they stopped here for fuel and dinner before heading out. These are #2 and #3 as they ripped over my house about 20 minutes ago. Zoom...zoom.......ZOOM! 8O

I watched a couple of CF-18s doing what looked like a mock dog fight just over the lake at Thunder Bay about 20 years ago. I was completely mesmerized ... the power of those aircraft.

I've encountered the Snowbirds stopping for gas and grub twice, several year apart and both times in Kamloops airport while I was waiting for flights. They landed and took off in close pairs, as I recall.
