WTF is synthetic pot and why would anyone have to synthesis something as readily available as pot? Besides, after this woman's road trip it sounds more like she was on a giant meth jag than on pot, synthetic or otherwise.

I'm not so sure...it looks like the synthetic stuff gives you a much better high than what the hippies smoke.

Y'all do have that, as do we, and every other democracy. I don't think there's a country on the planet that doesn't have it to some degree. Although admittedly, in your country, as in say, Russia, the govt seems to redistribute more wealth upwards than downwards. That can be a problem.

AFAIK, synthetic pot is legal. Hard to ban it. Also, the term is a misnomer. You could synthesize THC easily, I had friends who made synthetic coke out of plexiglass, just to say they did it. But why bother. Synthetic pot is just a collection of substances to get you high - it's got no connection to pot at all

Doubt you'll see much of this sort of behavior in CO or WA - real pot doesn't make people do this sort of stuff. As you yourself alluded to. The story with real pot would read "stoner accidentally gets in police car thinking it's his and drives off. He's chased down ans stopped by the officer on foot."

Going by the discolourations on her face she's probably much more of a crackhead than a pothead. The more chemical type of drugs, like crack (which is processed with some pretty awful stuff that should never be ingested) and meth, are well known to do this sort of thing to the skin of the fools that use them.
