That's one freaky looking bastard. I hope they get him soon and return the boy safely to his parents.

:) :) :) Kudos to all who had a hand in the successful search for this little fellow.

There's been something fishy about this story from the moment it happened and still is.

I am VERY happy for the child he is back home.

On a day commemorating a great tragedy, it's nice to know that this will be remembered as a day of great joy for one family.

Right. They KNOW it was Hopley, but they didn't catch him AFTER they got a phone call Kienan would be dropped off at the home?

Kienan's father found the young boy sitting on a couch in the Hebert family home after police received a phone call indicating that the toddler would be dropped off there, a neighbour told CTV B.C.'s Rob Brown.

You'd think there would be 24/7 surveillance IN the house.

That makes sense; but on the other hand, 'they' may not have wanted to do that might impede the possible return of the boy.

They have called Hopley "THE KIDNAPPER" from day 1. If you wouldn't want to do anything that might impede the possible return of the boy, THAT is the first thing you have to NOT do. It has been in the news for days, 24/7. You are there. Period.

They got a call. You get a damned call. A 3 year old is missing. You have a swat team ready. You have Police officers in tree's waiting for a man that is so dangerous. IF it was him.

    Seriously... Wow.

I kind of doubt he made the call he dropped Keenan off at the house...

I kind of doubt someone is able to go into someones home TWICE without being seen, while the whole province is looking out for this child... Nobody thought about 24/7 surveillance of the house?

I've been to Sparwood and it's not very big. I bet they don't have the policing resources to do that.

Sparwood is 2 times larger than the community I live in. I am pretty sure that there would have been a civilian neighbourhood watch if this would have happened here.
