The NDP respects sovereignty in Quebec. This according to the youngest MP in Canadian history, 19-year-old Pierre-Luc Dusseault, who, as of Monday, represents the Sherbrooke riding in Quebec.

Looks like Jack's going to have his hands full based on these first 3 days!

At least our idiots have the sense to not spout their mouth off a few days after an election.

Jack has no idea what he's got.
Never thought in a minute they'd get elected.
Now he's got to slap some wrists before it gets too bad.

I'm sure the journalists are having a field day... it looks a bit like the African savana out there. The lions (journalists) are going after the weakest in the herd (young inexperienced NDP's) and mowing them down.

Of course not, it takes a few days for the paperwork to make it through the PMO before they're allowed to say anything.

Jack has said stupid things as well. I lost a lot of respect for him when I just read that he said that Quebec should get 25% of any new seats in parliament. The point of adding new seats would be to make the representation closer to population. To pander to Quebec in this way is disgusting.

It figures. An NDP MP makes an inflamatory remark and you still turn it on to the Conservatives. Pathetic. Kenmore lives on.

To pander to any region is disgusting.

Now you understand why the West supported the Reform Party so heavily.

I will like to thank these new NDP MPs now, for giving the CPC the soundbites for the election in four years.

Seriously, they're politicians, they need to shut up before it bites them hard in the ass.

I've lived in the West almost all my life, Caleb, and no I don't. I understand regional gripes, I just don't understand why it all has to be mixed in with a big bunch of yahooness? (Word chosen with an understanding of it's origin.) I mean, even the Bloc didn't do that, just plainly had a Quebec first agenda. I've always been embarrassed by Reform.

    Because they're not allowed.

Dumbass, so much for "representing all the youth of Canada."

Likely though, his comments were taken out of context, but he needs to learn to watch what he says.

Is he saying he respects Quebec as an Independent Nation when he say he respects Canadian Sovereignty?

He's 19. He probably has no idea what he respects yet. The NDP was a protest vote in Quebec, and they protested.
