AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That's cute. I wouldn't get the day off school in -40C with 3 feet of snow, but the world's most powerful government? Sure.

They are still willing to play hookey when it's costing 100 million?

Of course they are, it's the government.

    See: Parliament.

I call bullshit on that. They received 90 cm of heavy wet snow from that one storm, which is a shitload of snow for anywhere. Most cities in Canada would have shutdown over less. Hell, Toronto would be calling in the military again.

Like Jay Leno said about this tonight: New Orleans must have won the Superbowl because Hell has just frozen over.

Oh, my. What did that commie Obama do now? This is God's wrath 'cause he wants taxes cut and no public health care.

I wish that happened here in Toronto. I would love a couple snow days off work to go sledding or something. The last HUGE snowstorm I remember was back in '92 when I lived in Barrie. Almost a meter of snow overnight. Took a while just to get to the garage and get the shovels.
