The Hubble space space telescope has been the most efficient and effective project to look at the universe.

When you see a point of light that traveling at 300 M per second and the light that you see is coming from hundreds of light-years it is just beautiful.

I think your figure for the speed of light is a wee bit slow, it's not 300 M per second, that's about the speed of sound, (343 meters per second). The speed of light is more like 299,792,458 meters per second, just a slight difference of about 6 orders of magnitude.....

I stand corrected, as most Americans we are more used to saying 386,000 miles per second, but we need to join the rest the rest of the metric world, particulary in science.

    So does Canada...

When I first moved here, I was told Canada was metric since 1970. In reality, my kids still learn imperial in school (in addition to metric) and basicly everything is imperial, except for the temp.
