LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Arkansas House has approved a bill allowing concealed handguns in churches, despite hearing arguments that lawmakers should put their faith in God, not guns.

For goodness sakes. Why can't hte US learn that no guns is better then everyone having them.

Hello take a look up north at Canada. Geez.

edit: Think of the conversation for this too. "You know church is great already but you know what it needs...more guns!"

Well, statistics seem to tell you are wrong.
There's more crime in states with strong gun laws.

Really, who cares if the guy wants to bring a gun at church ? It's not like he will kill Jesus.

It's just so wrong on so many levels for so many reasons.

It's not like he will kill Jesus.

I'm pretty sure these are exactly the folks that would shoot at Jesus........and Hector........... and Pablo......and Juan.

Agreed, I really don't think it's a big deal, plus I don't think everybody remembers the shootings in Colorado (I think) where a madman tried to shoot up a church, only to be killed by an off duty security guard. Could be an added paranoia idea to it, but honestly there is no big deal to this, in the long run, outside of the irony and the humour.

Saddest part is they're avid church-goers and can't even see that....

Damn, next thing you know they'll have Gun Checks at Church doors. The US has lost it.

This also reminds me of Obama's quote, "...religion and Guns". Looks like he was right.

Do they have metal detectors at the churches that don't allow gunson the premisis?

How many people died in car accidents travelling to and from church?

People fear going to church? I thought they went to church because they feared not going....
