Kenneth Hotz seems to be an ass, but yes, this really isn't worth bringing up a rights complaint. Just ignore his filth and get on with your lives.

Love Kenny vs. Spenny and if you've watched the show, this is isn't even close to "offensive" :D

Oh...and I'm offended that Skoreyko feels its his role to limit freedom of speech in this context.

Maybe it's a set-up - maybe Kenny didn't want to lose to Spenny and Dean is just helping out.

A conspiracy! I demand an investigation! Good job catching that one, lily!

Firstly, did anybody else not notice the key sentence fragment in the newsstory? Dean Skoreyko, who had viewed the event ONLINE (Emphasis mine) filed a complaint...blah blah blah.

Simply put, old Deany-Margariney had to go out and make a concerted effort to be offended. He wasn't simply strolling down Church Street yelling at gays when Kenny Hotz flew a banner over his head to which he took offense. Dean the Shithead had to go and learn about the story, look it up, watch somebody's online video of it and THEN decide to be offended. He didn't boot up Left Behind: Eternal Forces and Kenny had slipped offensive material into it, unbeknownst to Dean Fuckface.

If you've got to make an extra-special effort to find offense at which to be offended, your claim is rather hollow. Maybe Dean World Traveller, could go to Syria, barge into a mosque and file a complaint that they said Mohammed was the prophet of God, not Jesus.

Secondly, and more constitutionally, the Constitution is meant to protect people, not ideas. Once we extend its authority past its original intent, we're into some very murky territory where the rule of law will become a joke. Afterall, can I file a complaint that every church, synagogue and mosque in Canada discriminates against me because they don't teach evolution from the pulpit? It offends me that somebody out there is telling people the world began at 9:00 am, October 23rd, 4004 BC.

Moreover, there is a huge difference between discrimination, which the Tribunals were set up to litigate, and offense, which is incredibly subjective. Discrimination is not hiring people to work at Tim Horton's because they're of a certain religion...offensive is setting up a store called Cruci-Fixin's which sells 2X4's and nails in case somebody stumbles across the resurrected messiah returned to Earth and you want to play Roman conqueror.

Thirdly, Kenny is totally going to beat Spenny in this competition.

Maybe Jesus drank through a straw when he lived.

Maybe we should ask the Prime Minister to apologize and compensate someone for this terrible tragedy that will no doubt effect generations of some race.

Who the hell is "mohamid"? Did you mean Mohammed or some obscure second cousin to the Egyptian panthenon?
