"Liberal Leader Stephane Dion has said his party will not run a candidate in Central Nova. That could make the race between May and MacKay a lot closer, Harris-Decima president Bruce Anderson stated in the poll results."
Harris Decima, always looking for something positive for the Liberals.
Oh.. a special deal? Will the green party be handing it's votes over to the Libs, and are the green voters cool with this? I doubt it. No wonder many greens are going NDP instead.
About a year back, I got to see a fascinating clip of May, in a debate forum of sorts, tear a Tory representative apart on the topic of Trade, of all things. She demonstrated a clearly superior understanding of that topic, and has since then gone on to demonstrate her surprising thoughts on many other topics, and is the only reason I would even consider her party as an option. Ms. May was the perfect choice for leader of the eco-dorks. Also, what sort of motivation is it for a party to try harder and learn from their mistakes if they can never be out of office for more than a few years? No matter how defeated either the Tories or the Grits get, the sitting party eventually corrupts and we need to replace them. As long as they know the Canadian people will never vote for a third party, they have no reason to make themselves better. Rather than so strongly supporting your party, you should try threatening them from time to time, for you are the people who employ them.
So then why are the gerrns aparently in bed with the Liberals? Why do the collude to not run competing candidates? From my perspective, the Greens are just a further greenwashed Liberal party, leaving only the NDP to pick up the heavy end.
*Edit* (since I did not want to point out anyone in particular)
Heck, instead of voting for the Green party, might as well vote for this:
The Green party is pretty much useless. They already got Dion and Layton, both proven environmentalists. No need for another party, they got too much green in Ottawa.

But then again...what difference would it make ?
Why do the collude to not run competing candidates?
