Suzanne Pleshette, the husky-voiced film and theatre star best known for her role as Bob Newhart's sardonic wife on television's long-running The Bob Newhart Show, has died. She was 70.
"lily" said I've never seen that. Looked on youtube for it but no luck.
Very appealing voice, too.
The last scene - it's dark, Bob wakes up and starts talking about this weird dream he had.... and a distinct gravelly voice picks up the one detail that matters...
"You were married to a blonde?"
The whole series was a dream.
I've heard about that - a classic finale for a series.

Hi my name is Larry, this is my brother Darryl and this is my other brother Darryl i LOVED that ending that was sooo funny.
I've never seen much of her work, but as a big fan of those old Hitchcock movies I remember her from "The Birds" (she's way more appealing than Tippi Hedren, IMO) and this other flick I saw once on TV late at night called "If This Is Tuesday It Must Be Belgium", which I'm sure I only watched because of her.

Newhart - a tv show from the eighties starring Bob Newhart. He has a real deadpan sense of humour.
