Why doesn't this surprise me. One thing Alion Canada forgot to mention was that the "expert" the Liberal Gov't hired as consultant in the acquisition program just happened to be a Retired Brit Admiral.

And guess what country the Type 26 Frigate design comes from?

Good thing there was no appearance of bias in the selection process though. But, given the current court challenge and the ones likely to follow because of a bullshit selection process, this will likely set the Frigate program back by decades if not shut it down indefinitely.

No new fighters, no new frigates, no new submarines and no new armor. Good to see that our military will be expected to defend Canada and extend our gov'ts policies on the world stage with antiquated equipment from the last century.

There is something seriously wrong with our procurement process and gov't.

Are you in the running to become PM? The reason I ask is because that seems to be the exact mindset of our last 12 Prime Ministers

But, it's good to know you approve of our antiquated weaponry because next time we need someone to stop a T90 with his antitank stick I'll give NDHQ your number. ROTFL

Once again another Canadian defence programme bites the dust.

You folks have this shit down to a science, don't you? Makes me wonder if there's an Office of Clusterfucking Procurements in your MoD.
