$1:
In a further sign that the U.S. is especially interested in Canada retaining a key role in Afghanistan, Canada is the only ally in Afghanistan to whom the Americans have been willing to entrust their troops.


And yet we won't have codes for the fighter planes they want to sell us...go figure.

I seriously doubt it is going to work, more or less I believe the reason the Government wants to pull out is because of war protests back home. Along with the extent of spending that is required to keep the war going. In this economic situation, it is better to just call quits. Doubt giving us a additional couple thousand troops under our command is going to cover those reasons.

The U.S. has already adopted our strategies we used in Afghanistan. I am sure they can manage Khandahar after we leave. Being a military super power and all.
