heirs?? The Templars, as well as being knights, were also a monastic order who took vows of 'celibacy'. All members surrendered their property to the Order and therefore the Church...one of the reasons the Church later imposed celibacy on its clergy, where once upon a time it was a matter of personal choice. Couldn't have a wealthy bishop or cardinal leaving all that land and gold to children when the poor Church of Rome needed golden chalices for the Pope's residence.

It is interesting, that once upon a time the Templars, once chastised the Church for its acquisition of wealth. But they became wealthy, went into banking and ended up being owed money by the wrong people and were set upon by the powers that be. Funny, the Jews had that happen to them every generation or two.

Well, you certainly won't be called upon by the Appellant in this matter if you're going to introduce a rational approach...

Know a lot about the Bible do you ?
Which part of the Bible do you believe was written after
The First Crusade(1096 AD)?
Because before that event the Knights Templar did not exist.

Or is it your basic knowledge of religion / history that is hogwash ?

So sad...not only do fools like Gore attempt to make us accountable for things that may happen in the distant future but we are also responsible for the crimes of our ancestors...

AND why isn't France named in the lawsuit? Wasn't King Philip of France the real brainchild of discrediting the templars for money he owed them?
