Oh please dumbass, if people can't put up a damn Christmas tree on public property and if saying "Merry Christmas" is against public policy of a corporation, then yes political correctness is pushing into Christmas holidays. If I went to Israel during (I know I can't spell this) Hanukkah then I wouldn't start making them push "Happy Holidays" to make my Christian self feel better.

Yes sir! They never asked to change the way we do things but those Italien Irish and so on added to our community and intergrated. They just wanted to be a part of the community looking for a better life, and they worked for it. They weren't a burden.
As for the racist arguement , thats bullshit becuase if you look closer theres bigitry even among a certain ethnic group as in status, political standings and so on.
Our real issue is the bozo's in parlement with thier blind high ideals that we can't afford. Let's take care of our own and when we have room for more then open the doors.

I have immigrated to Quebec from Algeria 3 years ago. Altought we feel more safe, this society has a lot of work to do before properly integrating the immigration population. They want you as immigrants for your skills but one you're there, the story is pretty much different.

The average Quebecer is nice on the surface, but behind every quebecer lies a xenophobic person as I have faced so many times since i arrived. Freedom to fully practice your religion is also a big negative.

Hopefully the Bouchard-Taylor commission is the beginning of a new area for this province because there is a lot of catch-up to do. I am glad to join a non 100% quebec forum where you get insulted all the time.
