Then I'm curious as to where your moral guidance comes from that tells you that what these people did is somehow 'wrong'? And why should the neighbor impose her narrow-minded view of morality on this man and his alternative domestic arrangement?

From a sense of being connected to humanity. Ie from inside rather than from some guy in the sky.
