Are you serious? Are you saying that Saddam had WMD ready to go and that was a valid reason for Iraq II?

Of course the US military knew that Saddam had WMD at one time - they sold them to him. And he used them on the Kurds after Bush I urged them to rise up, then sat on his hands when they did. But by the time of Iraq II, those weapons had been allowed to decay, were not usable. If he had such threatening WMDs, why was the military not able to find them, despite having clear motivation to do so?

Yep. But that's what the righties clutch on to - technically it's true. So technically Iraq II was a brilliant idea. Saved us all getting gassed in our beds and all. Made the country safe for democracy. Next they'll even find the yellow cake that had been turned into nukes that lost Colin Powell his chance to run for the White House.
