OnTheIce OnTheIce: Making up the law as we go along. Yes, you are. Are you now stating that a consensual fight is assault?

OnTheIce OnTheIce: The funny thing is you describe that as a consensual assault. Nonsense. There's no such thing as a consensual assault. If it's consensual, it's not assault, by definition. That WalMart video isn't an assault on two grounds: 1. it's too minor in nature to warrant any charges; and 2. It looks like everyone there seems happy to engage in the scrap, therefore not an assault but a consensual fight. The proofs in the pudding, isn't it, since no charges were laid?

Sure thing. Move along.

You don't know the first thing about assault, as evidenced by your posts on this thread, so yeah, you should move along...along to the bookstore for an Introduction to Law text.

Sure thing. I'm glad we have an expert in Law in the house. I'm not sure what we'd do without your infinite wisdom on all topics.

OnTheIce OnTheIce: Sure thing. I'm glad we have an expert in Law in the house. I'm not sure what we'd do without your infinite wisdom on all topics. If I state that 2 + 2 = 4, does that mean I'm claiming to be an expert in mathematics? Of course not. What I've said about law on this thread is a comparable level of legal expertise to stating 2 + 2 = 4. You, however, haven't even that level of comprehension. So you should shut up and go read that grade 11 law text instead of continuing to make a fool of yourself. All you keep saying is the legal equivalent of "2 + 2 = 5". It doesn't take an expert to tell you you don't know what you're talking about. Any 11th grader could tell you that.

We can create a topic so you can profess your own awesomeness over and over again to keep that ego inflated. Can you start a topic for us on welding? I could use some tips.

There's a deflection. What does welding have to do with anything?

Lemmy Lemmy: There's a deflection. What does welding have to do with anything? Welding was another topic you jumped in to profess your superiority, mocking other people over suggested methods. There's literally zero point conversing with you because it always ends the same way with everyone you debate with. You're right, everyone else is wrong. Always.

I don't think I've ever said anything about welding on CKA. Were you talking about this exchange, which wasn't about welding but about barrel-cutting? OnTheIce OnTheIce: Lemmy Lemmy: OnTheIce OnTheIce: Epic fail on the part of the shop teacher.
That thing should be been either a new barrel or a used barrel full of water to prevent things like this from happening. Yes, this teacher is going to have some 'splaining to do, but you aren't suggesting that you should fill a barrel with water before you go about cutting it in half, are you? Yes, that's how you cut tanks/barrels that were previously filled with a flammable substance. Because the very next post I made was this: Lemmy Lemmy: I stand corrected. But that would make a hell of a mess in a classroom...less of a mess than was actually made in this case, granted. Yep, lots of mocking and superiority there.

That's it. I'm amazed you actually admitted you were wrong. Not amazed that you have the time in your day to find that, but whatever floats your boat. In this topic, you're correct. 100% correct. I deeply regret questioning your knowledge on the subject of Law.

What you should be amazed by is how your memory and perception are much different from reality.

Lemmy Lemmy: What you should be amazed by is how your memory and perception is much different from reality. Yes, because being the superior being that you are, I'm sure you recall conversations you had with people on the Internet a decade ago with exceptional accuracy. The perception of you being a pompous know-it-all is dead-on accurate. I'm so glad we have you around to tell us how wrong we are all the time.

OnTheIce OnTheIce: Yes, because being the superior being that you are, I'm sure you recall conversations you had with people on the Internet a decade ago with exceptional accuracy. Of course not. But I'd probably double check it before falsely accusing someone about it. You've even got another shithead tossing insults about me on another thread, a thread I'm not even participating in, because of your false accusation. But no apology, eh? And it's me who doesn't admit when they're wrong? OTI OTI: The perception of you being a pompous know-it-all is dead-on accurate. Prove it. Just like your false welding accusation, this perception of me that you hold is a fantasy that you've cooked up in your head. OTI OTI: I'm so glad we have you around to tell us how wrong we are all the time. There's an easy solution to that: don't be wrong all the time.
