I think quite a few of of you are off the mark with talk of a race war. No country on the planet is as racially diverse as the U.S. African Americans make up 13.2% of the population. Yet they have a representative in the highest office one can hold. They are represented in the supreme court, and every level of every branch of government. What other country on the planet can say the same? No one else is even close. I think the majority of the discord between the races seems to stem from white cops killing blacks. In the past few years (with the exception being the Treyvon Martin case ) almost every flare up has been a white cop killing a black person. Some of it is justified: Mike Brown. Some of it is not: Freddie Gray, Eric Garner, etc.

This dipshit in Charleston S.C. does not represent anyone but himself. He does not represent any white people that I know. He does not represent any Christians , or any other members of any other religious faith that I know. He is an evil, disturbed, twisted, young man. Who can sit for over an hour at a religious service of any faith, and then set out to murder the people present at said service but an extremely disturbed or evil individual.? I would prefer that this individual be mentally disturbed as the shooters in Arizona and Colorado appear to be. So far from what little info I have received from this case, I have to go with evil. Pure and simple evil. I realize that religion is not in vogue on this site, however I would ask that every religious member of this site (regardless of faith), pray for the family members of these poor souls in Charleston.

Well, finally a sensible solution. Instead of all this progtard wailing about banning guns so people can't defend themselves, the death penalty is sure to prevent future massacres like this. Because the people that do the shooting are totally rational, make the calculation that life in jail is OK, but the death penalty, no way. Too bad they don't have a way of reviving the shooters that kill themselves after their spree, so they can get the death penalty too.

FOG has never said any such thing but it is notable that Lincoln wanted the blacks sent back to Africa or perhaps Central America. A recent release of his letters from the US National Archives speaks to that Lincoln would have removed all of the blacks from the USA in his second term...had he lived.

It's easier for the Left to blame guns and the Right to counter those arguments instead of addressing the bigger issue. While it's unclear if this played a role into Dylann Roof committing an act of Domestic Terrorism it's still an issue all sides CHOOSE to ignore.
