Plus the dog has a really enjoyable time getting in touch with it's true carnivore nature. And the cops that show up are quietly grateful that someone removed a probably-repeat problem that they no longer have to deal with anymore. All in all it means almost everyone, except for the guy now missing his throat, goes home happy.

That's the main problem with guns being so prevalent. Most people seem to have forgotten that there are lots of non-lethal yet extremely painful methods available that are just as effective as firearms at putting a stop to all kinds of TNB.

The next non-lethal protection device... they say it could even be used in schools.

Let's combine the two and have the best of both worlds.

Celebrities usually keep to the sidelines on these political issues. I was very dissapointed with Jim Carrey after his outburst. Guess I'll start watching more of Adam Sandler now, he's a Republican, and he's just as funny as Jim Carrey, if not funnier.
Republican celebrities who support gun rights now have the opportunity to step in and issue a counter statement against Carrey. The list of Republican celebrities is long, Clint Eastwood, The Rock, Robert Duvall, Jon Voight, Sylvester Stallone, Tom Selleck, Bruce Willis, Mel Gibson, Chuck Norris, Kevin Kostner, Alice Cooper, Drew Carey, James Earl Jones, Karl Malone, LL Cool J, Pat Sajak, Stephen Baldwin, Heather Locklear, Shannen Doherty, Jessica Simpson ...etc). Would be great if one of these celebrities rebukes Jim Carrey, and let it be known that celebrities should keep out of the gun debate.

I voted for "stick to Hollywood".
I'm voting for 'Eugene Carrey should move to Canada where more people like that kind of crap'.
Well, there are probably about 155.5+ million Americans who will view the video positively.
I don't think it'll hurt his box office.

What, the right to make fun of something or someone you don't agree with? God forbid.....hey wait a minute.... He does in Islamic republics
I don't know. He uses Western imagery to mock people. I think residents of Saskatchewan could be greatly offended by that. This video could be considered hate speech.

You might want to double-check some of your list;
Sylverster Stallone Sylverster Stallone:
"I know people get (upset) and go, `They're going to take away the assault weapon.' Who ... needs an assault weapon? Like really, unless you're carrying out an assault. ... You can't hunt with it. ... Who's going to attack your house, a (expletive) army?"
$1:
Stallone supported the 1994 "Brady bill" that included a now-expired ban on assault weapons, and hopes that ban can be reinstated.

Nah, he's mocking a white male. That can't be classified as hate speech.

You're right. Stallone came out as pro-gun control as his last movie opened and the movie flopped.
That movie, Bullet to the Head, was an 80's style shoot 'em up and while it opened fairly strong that momentum faltered once Stallone came out as supporting a ban on pretty much every firearm he could be seen using in the movie. The resonance of the movie then fell flat with audiences and it will be some time before his tough guy image ever comes back, if at all.

I guess Stallone is part of a small minority of registered Republicans who support gun control. Amungst Republicans he is the exception to the rule.

Yes, you're right. Although he is a registered Republican, Stallone does indeed support gun control. May as well cross him off the list.

Of course they should keep to the sidelines, however when someone does get involved, the other side can't very well stay quiet as the issue would remain one-sided.
