The ad is a bit glib, but I don't care.
It's PAID FOR...unlike the upcoming Lib ads,
which are to be paid for "someday"..."probably"...

Vomit inducing ?
How 'bout Don Alfonso's Gagliano's $550,000 fed loan ?

I will say that I do hate the CPC radio ads. I hate when radio ads pretend to be radio shows. It's deceptive (for dumbies) and unimaginative.

At least it's not like the NDP TV add that had a NDP staffer pretending to be a concerned citizen.

I think you mean "dummies" because "dumbies" isn't a word    The irony isn't lost on anyone.

All adds are deceiving - are you kidding me?!?!? This is politics! There's an entire academic pursuit devoted to it and media awareness is a massive component. Besides, in Canada, this kind of thing rarely has a markedly positive effect - if anything, media spots are often used as illustrations of a particular party/leader's shortcomings rather than their alleged ideological strengths.

mtbr mtbr:
here is one poll result that won't be printed in the STAR even though they paid for it

no actually it was printed and i saw it the other day and even bought that news paper just for the poll .
there was also another one in the globe and mail today with very similar numbers . so it looks like dion is in trouble but then again why i'm i not surprised by that .

its also interesting that only the conservatives are running pre-election ads , is that cause the liberals have like no money ?

So I take it the, Why I will Vote for Harper Ad hasn't hit the airwaves in the east yet. It's been on TV here since Friday.

It's been driving me scooters since I was trapped in my chair in Saskatchewan.

What the hell is the deal with the guy in the tool belt?

I mean, Jesus, his truck doesn't look like it's hauled so much as a border collie, his "work" clothes are brand new, his tool belt is in better shape than most of the ones you'll find on the shelf at Home Depot, and it doesn't have any tools in it.

I see him as the perfect metaphor for the Harperites, actually. Pretenders without a clue. All show and no substance. A thin veil of lies covering complete inadequacy..

I'm mistaken. I thought those ads were from the NDP but they were Liberal.

Here's the list of imposters:

$1:
The Liberals have released TV ads with lovely images of everyday Canadians rattling off reasons why they as average citizens will be voting Liberal.

Taking a closer look at the ads, we invite all Canadians to join us in playing:

“Average Canadian or Liberal Insider?”

No. Liberal insider. Art Cowie is a former Liberal MLA in BC.
No. Liberal insider. Matthew Naylor is a Young Liberal activist in BC.
No. Liberal insider. Mike Burton was a 2003 Candidate for the Liberals in Saskatchewan.
No. Liberal insider. Scott Andrews is the executive director of a Liberal association in Newfoundland-Labrador.
No. Liberal insider. Paul Lehman is the former VP-Provincial for the Liberals in Ontario.
No. Liberal insider. Andrew Block is the former president of the campus Liberals at the University of Waterloo.
No. Liberal insider. Jacob Mksyartinian is the former riding president in London, Ontario.
No. Liberal insider. Adrienne Cousins is Vice President-Policy Young Liberals of Canada – BC.
No. Liberal insider. Bardish Chagger is a constituency office assistant for Ontario Liberal MP Andrew Telegdi.
No. Liberal insider. Peter Yung is riding association president for the Liberal Party in Burnaby-Douglas, B.C.
No. Liberal insider. Neil Dhalla is a brother of Ruby Dhalla, a Liberal MP.
No. Liberal insider. Lamiley Lutterodt is the former business manager for Regina Liberal candidate Simone Clayton in the 2003 Saskatchewan election.
No. Liberal insider. Joel Peterson is the executive director of Saskatchewan's Liberal party and a key organizer for Finance Minister Ralph Goodale

I thing the CPC should find who does the NDP ads and steal them away.
