My plow shares thing was not a solution . But, it's the only way .

I think phrases like gun - nuts and such is not helping either.

Hunting and firearm collectors and users are not psychotic just because they own and use them.

It's my understanding, talking with some people at work, that this guy followed all the gun laws to obtain the weapon. Not sure how restrictive the gun laws are in Virginia. Even if you add more laws and restrictions I'm thinking he still would have gotten a gun at some point.

Your solution is to what? Take every gun away that can be found? There are more guns in the USA then illegal immigrants. We are told it is impossible to enforce the immigration laws and kick out the illegal immigrants do to the vast numbers. Why is it then that people feel that confiscating peoples property can be done?
