  Why “Wasted Talent”? Because it’s the story of my life. Hehe, that sounds pessimistic, but it’s true. I’m just a girl cursed with intelligence and intense curiosity as well as dangerous creativity. I want to be an engineer and draw comic books at the same time, but it’s obvious that they both can’t happen at once. So, my life right now is about being an engineer first and an artist at the side… so my “artistic talent” is wasted on engineering.

Can I publish your comic in my school publication/newsletter/whatever? Go Nuts! All I ask is that you put a link/credit back to http://www.wastedtalent.ca... so if someone likes it they can find more! Also, please let me know you're doing it by email, I like to stay informed about where my work is. Oh, but posting my work in a for-profit publication is a "no-no"... please don't do that.

Why aren’t I in your comic?? I thought we were friends!!! I hate you. Hey, I’m sorry, I draw things as they happen most of the time. If you’re my friend, and you’re not in my comics (which does happen!) you’ve got to either a) be funnier while near me or b) be nearer to me while I’m being funny. If you’re around me enough, chances are that EVENTUALLY you’ll get into WT.

… I don’t get it. Alright, I’ll be honest. You probably won’t get *all* the jokes unless you’re a Mechanical Engineer who lives in Vancouver and draws comics on the side. But I *do* try my best to make the jokes as universal as possible. Tell you what, leave what you don't get in a comment and I'll try my best to answer your questions. By figuring out what different people do and do not get in my jokes, it'll help me write them better!

OMG, LiEK Ur drawerings suck!! Meh. I do some of these when I’m half-concious or drunk. When I say they’re done with just pen and looseleaf, I’m not joking. Now that I've graduated I'm doing my best to produce them at a better level of quality, but I'll never be able to please everyone with my level of art ability. Sorry!
